Employee safety should be more than a one-day workshop
Most organisations already have policies, awareness drives and emergency procedures. But when something unexpected happens, people need more than information. They need to be able to:
- Recognise risk early.
- Decide well under pressure.
- Set boundaries and avoid unnecessary escalation.
- Respond with confidence if someone threatens them.
- Protect themselves when prevention fails.
That is where repeated, practical training makes the difference.
The programme
A single session raises awareness. Four sessions build skill and confidence that last. A cohort of 20 to 30 women meets for 4 sessions of 2 hours, usually one a week, at your office or an offsite venue, depending on the space. Because it all fits inside about a month, HR does not have to worry about long-term drop-offs.
Session 1: The tactical mindset
Many attacks begin with a testing phase. Learn to spot it, keep your distance, and stop trouble before it turns physical. Your voice becomes a weapon: clear, firm and calm under pressure.
Session 2: Cabs, lifts and confined spaces
The commute is a high-risk moment for many women employees. Learn to read the warning signs in cabs, auto-rickshaws, lifts and stairwells, and how to escape from a seated position.
Session 3: High-leverage escapes
Break wrist grabs, wall pins, hair pulls and chokes using technique, not strength, so a smaller person can get free from a stronger one.
Session 4: The Crucible
Skills learned calmly must also work under stress. Safe, supervised drills let every participant test them under simulated adrenaline. The programme ends with a Raw Krav Maga programme completion certificate.
Awareness first, fighting last
We do not train employees to become fighters. We train them to be better prepared. Personal safety is not about confrontation. It runs in four steps: Awareness, Avoidance, De-escalation, Response. Physical self-protection is the final layer, not the first response. That is why the programme works for people who have never done any martial arts.
Too long? Start with a 90-minute workshop
Not ready for four sessions? A 90-minute workshop is a separate, foundational session, and a good way in. Book it as a one-off, or as a quarterly pack of 4 workshops across the year, each for a fresh batch of 25 to 30 women, so 100 or more employees are trained in a year. You can then follow it with the 4-session programme for a dedicated cohort. See the workshop options.
Ideal for: employee engagement programmes, safety weeks, women's programmes, wellbeing initiatives and corporate events.
What your team takes away
- Awareness that spots trouble early, before it turns physical.
- A short set of escapes that rely on technique, not strength.
- Confidence from practising under pressure, adapted to each participant.
- A programme completion certificate for every participant.
Format
- A cohort of 20 to 30 women, depending on the space.
- 4 sessions of 2 hours, usually one a week: 8 hours in all.
- At your office or an offsite venue, with clear floor space.
- Comfortable clothes. Everything is supervised and adapted to each participant.
- Led personally by Gopal Raghavan, a Krav Maga Global (KMG) G2 instructor, so quality stays consistent.

Questions about the programme
Who is the programme for?
Women employees at any level and in any role. A cohort of 20 to 30 women takes part together, so everyone practises and nobody just watches.
Can it be done for men too?
The 4-session programme is designed for women employees. It can be done for men too if your HR team wants it. Our workshops for men already cover road rage and multiple attackers.
Do participants need to be fit?
Everything is taught step by step and adapted to each participant, and nobody is pushed beyond what they can do.
How is it different from a 90-minute workshop?
A workshop raises awareness in 90 minutes. The 4-session programme builds skills session by session, tests them under pressure and ends with a programme completion certificate.
How effective will it be?
Skills learned calmly often disappear when adrenaline hits, so this programme does not rely on repetition alone. Each session adds a skill, and Session 4 tests them all under simulated adrenaline and stress, in safe, supervised drills. Practising under pressure helps a technique stay with you, so participants can use it when it counts. The techniques are the ones we have taught in more than 60 self-defence workshops for more than 30 organisations.
Who teaches it, and is there physical contact?
Gopal Raghavan leads every cohort himself. Most of the threats women face come from men, so the training is built on that reality: participants practise against a realistic attacker. Every drill is supervised and built up step by step, and anyone can stop at any moment.
Can it run at several offices?
Yes. We can run it at each of your locations, and Gopal leads every cohort himself, which is how we keep the quality of every session consistent.
Where does it run?
At your office, in a space with clear floor, or at an offsite venue, in Chennai and across India. We agree the space and safety arrangements with your HR team before we begin.
What does it cost?
We share the details and the fee in a proposal, after a short conversation about your team and your space.
